LAUREN P ROUSE BOOK #2

Kentucky Journal WRITTEN BY: LAUREN ROUSE SATURDAY* TODAY WAS KIND OF BORING. ALL WE DID WAS DRIVE. WE DROVE FOR 11 HOURS.* SUNDAY^ TODAY I WENT TO MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK. I GOT TO GO INTO THE CAVE AND GET ICE CREAM AT AN ICE CREAM SHOP NEAR THE CAVE. MONDAY” Today I went to Cumberland Falls and Cumberland Gap. At Cumberland Falls I was able to hike a trail and view the falls from 4 places. At Cumberland Gap I was able to pretend I was on a cannon crew. TUESDAY$ Today was awesome! I walked across to Natural Bridges in one day. First one was at Natural Bridge State Park. I hiked what was said to be .50 miles but was actually 1.50 miles up to the Natural Bridge. The other Natural Bridge was at Red River Gorge. We ended up camping at Natural Bridge State Park and met of family with six kids.

The room I shared with my mom and dad was beautiful. It had yellow curtains and clean beds. Seeing how much it was fun until one night .…. chapter two In the middle of the night I felt something. I thought it was nothing. So I went back to bed. A few seconds later a siren went off. My dad woke me up. I knew something was wrong.We hurried to the deck and saw lots of people getting on lifeboats.I was separated from my dad. I didn't like that night at all. LAUREN P ROUSE HERE! I DID THE MATH ( WITH THE HELP OF A CALCULATOR) AND FIGURED OUT WE HAVE BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL FOR 384 HOURS ( NOT COUNTING WEEKENDS). Once upon a time, a little girl named L.P went fishing. When she cast out, she immediately felt a yank on her line. She reeled in and released the fish back into the lake (because she was allergic to fish). Her brother cast out and caught the same fish, just in the eye! Easter Eve Swimming

On Easter we spent the weekend in Altoona in a hotel and had pizza and went swimming with our cousin. The End just kidding!!! When we were in the pool it was fun to swim (of course) well....... We were swimming and nobody noticed that Isaac took his life jacket off (he also took his swimming trunks off) and.... jumped in the pool!! Soon we heard a man shout, ''He is drowning,'' (the man jumped in the pool with all his clothes on) and then he got Isaac out of the water and that is The End... P.S that was amazing out of eight adults, one saw Isaac.

My Great Great Grandma Dorothy O'Brion was born on June 26, 1917 and passed away January 10, 2018. The sad thing was for her to die, but the AMAZING fact was she was a century OLD! Also the other AMAZING fact is now she is in Heaven!! Her father's name was Fred and her mother's was Edith. My Grandpa Larry as a kid went to her house and ate McDonalds with her and her dog Dinah and Grandpa Larry's brother Tim (of course). Dorothy loved to crochet and sew and keep book and family records. She was the mother of 3 kids: Lois, Joyce, and Norma. Grandma O liked to watch Cubs baseball and golf. She grew up in Fort Dodge with no running water, indoor plumbing, electricity, or television. Then she just ended her life with selfies, television, garbage disposals, and campers. Back then they only had tents. Dorothy had 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Grandma Dorothy also loved African Violets and I forgot to say she also has
