TODAY WAS KIND OF BORING. ALL WE DID WAS DRIVE. WE DROVE FOR 11 HOURS.*

SUNDAY^

TODAY I WENT TO MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK. I GOT TO GO INTO THE CAVE AND GET ICE CREAM AT AN ICE CREAM SHOP NEAR THE CAVE.

MONDAY”

Today I went to Cumberland Falls and Cumberland Gap. At Cumberland Falls I was able to hike a trail and view the falls from 4 places. At Cumberland Gap I was able to pretend I was on a cannon crew.

TUESDAY$

Today was awesome! I walked across to Natural Bridges in one day.   First one was at Natural Bridge State Park. I hiked what was said to be .50 miles but was actually 1.50 miles up to the Natural Bridge.  The other Natural Bridge was at Red River Gorge. We ended up camping at Natural Bridge State Park and met of family with six kids.

WEDNESDAY +

Today was my birthday! It was so awesome! I got to see the Ark. Inside was a bunch of facts about animals and what it was like in Bible times. Afterward I got Dove shaped earrings at the gift shop.  Belated Happy Birthday, Lauren

THURSDAY@

Today I went to Louisville! I got to have lunch at an awesome restaurant and tour the Louisville Slugger Factory. In the factory I saw how they made baseball bats.

Friday! :) 😀😀
This is our last day camping! I got to go to the Abraham Lincoln birthplace! I walked up 56 stairs (Representing the 56 years of Abraham Lincoln) To a very cool memorial that looks somewhat like the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. Afterward we went to Lake Barkley State Park and stayed in the resort.

My Great Vacation Day

Hi. It is me, Lauren P. Rouse. Today I'm talking about a boy and a window. Intro : On vacation, never leave a boy in the car. Chapter 1: First Night (Wisconsin, July 2016) On the first night of vacation, we were unloading the car and (dun dun dun), Isaac locked himself in the car. He was having lots of fun pressing his face on the window. Mom was FREAKING OUT!! She went to the {front} desk {at the campground}, nobody was there. Mom went to a nearby neighbor. He showed Isaac pictures of the lock. Isaac did not listen. Finely, Isaac grabbed his blankets and went to lay down and Dad had enough and busted the window. Moral of the Story: Never go on vacation with 1 year old boys! The End
